How was everyone's Valentine's Day? I hope that it was satisfactory. I'm not
really one for Valentine's day, but we do have some manga for you. :)
First of all, the Scavenger Hunt of 2008 has ended successfully. It was all
thanks to Boo-chan and Khanny, the two very awesome people who coordinated this.
Congratulations Mada, Joel, Kii, and Suvius! They were the team that won
the Scavenger Hunt of 2008. Their prize is an awesome new siggie and any manga
of their choice uploaded!
That ends Manga-Destination's first event, and in the future there will be many
more fun ones. We hope you will participate.
Also, with the success of this event, I have promoted Khanny to Official Event
Coordinator. Give her a hand! She will now coordinate all of MD's activities.
Boo-chan is now our Head Banner Maker for the forums. The lovely banners in the
forums are made by her.
Also, I'd like to promote Sage to VIP member. This has long been overdue, but
Sage has uploaded tons of manga for us. Sage, I hope that you will continue
helping us in the future.

Get ready, get set, HUNT!?!?! Say what? Yep! You heard it! MD's 1st annual
anniversary activity has started!
The Scavenger Hunt, currently taking place in our forums, is ON! Whichever team
gets the most points at the end of the hunt will win. Prizes? Yep, they are
listed in the previous post. Good luck to all of our teams. May the best win! :)

Also, on a not so happy note, Kanzar, the other admin, has deleted the accounts
of members who have not been on in the last 60 days. Therefore, our member count
has dropped quite a bit. NEVER FEAR! We only did this as sort of a "Spring
Cleaning" thing.
We did this without notice because we wanted to "surprise" everyone. We want to
encourage people to stay active, so we did this. Don't worry, it won't happen
again for a while, but please stay active. Don't be leechers. ^^
Anyways, enjoy the Scavenger Hunt. ^^ Oh, a few mangas have been added and
updated. I'll make a formal update for manga in a bit.

Wow! MD's been around for a year now! :) So, happy anniversary, Manga-Destination!
We are all excited that it's been a year since manga-destination was launched,
and it's been growing ever since then with thousands of members to count, and
more registering every day.
To commemorate and celebrate this momentous occasion, we decided to have a
little scavenger hunt on the forum. (And of course, we've got new manga up for

Scavenger Hunt Activity
This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow co-members of MD, to learn more
about the forum itself, to discover what we have to offer, and last but not
least, have a lot of fun!
The idea of the scavenger hunt is to create many scavenger teams composed of 4
members, who will compete head-to-head in the hunt to find answers around the
forum. Each team will decide a name [and consequently receive a private thread
of their own]. The thread will consist of approximately 250 questions that the
team will strive to answer as many as possible within a week. The questions will
be about the forum and what you can find in it. Also there are some about
members and what they have said once upon a time. Don't worry. It's not
impossible. In fact, it's not hard at all. We just want you guys to get to know
each other and the forum better and have some fun along the way.
Now, there is an incentive to play. The winning team members each get a nifty
siggy, bragging rights, and a choice of any (available) manga series uploaded
for them!

I bet a lot of you only come to Manga-Destination for the manga. No worries.
Most people do. That's what MD's here for - to supply you with manga online and
downloads.
Well. we've always had an RPG forum, but it was never too active until just a
few months ago when a some die-hard RP fans came. And let's just say, everything
took off. MD now has a very active RP forum. (It's a whole category now, not
just a forum block! Hooray!) I must say, an active RP forum is a lot of fun.
*wink*
We really encourage those of you who just come for the manga to try posting at
the forums and meeting new people here through discussions. We hope that a more
active RPG forum would help bring out the activity in everyone. :) You come for
the manga, but you stay for the manga, the people, and maybe even the RP.
While we're on the subject of RPing, I'd like to congratulate our two new RP
forum mods, Tsurai and Boo-chan. Both of these people are very mature and kind.
They love MD and RPing very much and were voted to be the mods in the poll in
the RPG forum a few weeks back. So, congratulations RP mods! ;)
Also, our anniversary is January 23. We have a special surprise with more info
next weekend, so stick around!

Wahoo! I hope that everyone had an amazing holiday. ^.~
I know that my break was quite enjoyable. :) I got lots of R & R. (Yay!) I read
a lot of manga and played some PS2. ><
Well, it's the start of a new year! (Um, duh) Lol. I've decided to asked MD's
awesome members for their opinion on something. Manga-Destination is currently
focused on offering manga online. It's our top priority in the uploading sense.
That's because most of us thought that that's what a lot of people would want
since it's an easy and convenient way to read manga.
However, MD also offers mangas for download AND music for download. It seemed
that our ONLINE manga was most popular, so we decided to focus on that.
That was just an assumption. That's why I'd like you ask you, our wonderful
members this:
What do you want Manga-Destination to make their top priority in uploading for
the future?
1) More manga online. Keep doing what you've been doing.
2) More manga downloads.
3) More music.
Vote in this thread in the forums. Your opinion matters to us. :)
On another note, MD's having it's 1st anniversary soon! Yes! We have a very
special surprise, planned by Boo-chan and Khanny. We'll have more on that soon,
so stay tuned!

Merry Christmas! For those that don't celebrate Christmas, Happy Holidays! Also,
happy new year!
Anyways, Balla is back for good!~ (insert thundering cheer here) Lol. I finally
got my computer back. If you want details on what happened, look at the post
below this. It's mostly fixed, but there are still some minor repairs that need
to be done, which means limited access sometimes, but the good news is that it's
back! :) You all know what that means!
It means it's back to regular updates. Yup, the normal once a week or bimonthly
updates! (Yes!)
With Christmas, Manga-Destination will be the manga Santa Claus! We bring to
you, TONS of manga. Yay! <3 However, before I list them, I'd like to say the
broken links are fixed. I found out that our host was censoring some titles.
Thus, I had to take the list down, but all the manga are viewable and
downloadable in the forums.
Also, PLEASE DON'T POST 10 posts in the chatbox! #@%$@ $T#%@@$. What is meant by
"10 posts" is 10 posts in the forums! The manga will be viewable once you have
10 posts. Look carefully before PMing me and saying that you can't find the
manga.
Ok, I got that over with. Time for the manga. We added many new titles and
updated most of the old ones.

Update on My Virus Situation

Hey Everyone! :)
Wow, it seems like forever since I've update... WAIT, it has been forever. I'd
say about 2 months. Time sure flies by.
First off, I'd like to apologize for the lack of updates. No, I'm not losing
interest in MD as some of you may think in the back of your minds. Lol. You're
just too polite to pop that question... (<--- sounds like someone's getting
engaged lol jk... ok no more corny jokes).
I'd like to tell you all why I haven't been updating. No, I'm not excusing my
self. Believe me, I feel bad. It's like a guilty conscience or something, but my
lack of updates was really out of my control... so I guess it's not really my
fault, but I felt like I owed an explanation to all of my faithful friends and
lurkers... and leechers. ^-^
Anyways... so, as I posted in late September, my computer got hit by a virus.
More like 5 trojans and a few other things. I ended up with a LOAD of spyware in
my computer. @.@ It was crazy. So with school and all, it was hard to find the
time to clean my computer. I borrowed my friend's old laptop for school stuffs,
but it didn't have internet. So the first few weeks in October, I tried to clean
my comp. Then, I thought I was almost done, but I find out there's a virus that
won't let me activate/install my firewalls and Norton... that was a problem. So
I tried to save whatever I could and reformatted my computer.
Since I'm a busy student with rehearsals and classes, I tried to fix as much as
I could in my free time. I fixed it a few weeks back, but it had a few glitches
in it. I was like.. it'll live. For now. But, then, midterms hit, so I was holed
in... studying my butt off. And after that, we had tech week for my theatre show
and then shows. Obviously, there was no time in those 3-4 weeks for internet.
And that brings us to early this week. I decided that over Thanksgiving, I would
definitely sit down and finish fixing my computer. :)
But, I ran into some problems. I'm not a computer major, so I can only
troubleshoot general things. This time, I was stumped. One of my friends at
school who is a happy computer geek said that he'll take a look at my laptop for
a few weeks and get it up and running. So, since he's a good friend of mine I
let him. He promised to reinstall my Microsoft Office too. Last week, I realized
I didn't have my Office on there... and I use Microsoft FrontPage to do updates.
Anyways, the situation now is that he has my computer and is fixing it. He said
he'd have it back to me in a few weeks. 2-3 weeks. Thus, I'm pretty much without
internet. Ishita Kanzar can't do the updates because she's as busy as me and
doesn't have the files and such...
That's why there hasn't been updates. I can get on the forums everyday, but
updating was a no go.
And you're all wondering... what about the manga??? That'll be taken care of
when I get my computer back. OR maybe before... if I don't procrastinate and get
my all of my extremely long research reports/presentations/projects done....
But, there'll be a lot, I mean ALOT of manga added, thanks to my dear uploaders
who've been uploading without my badgering... and my faithful mod, Mada.
So, that's the story. I hope you all forgive my computer and me for the lack of
updates and my extracurricular and hw for my lack of time. But, once I get my
comp back up and running, expect regular updates.
